From Auschwitz/Birkenau, we drove an hour through the Polish countryside before arriving in Krakow. I had a view of Poland as gray and old, but it was quite the opposite. Beautiful countryside! We checked into our hotel in the heart of the city and then headed out for some sightseeing.

We read in Rick Steves book that this corner in in the Wawel Castle courtyard is one of the Hindu 7 energy sites of the world, or something like that. My dad and Cade recharged their energy here. |

haha i had the same rick steves book and we saw a bunch of people sitting by that corner with the "energy" i suppose trying to soak it up. too funny/
